Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Kampala.

The journey takes you through Uganda’s beautiful countryside with a stop at the Equator crossing for photographs and refreshments.

Continue to Lake Mburo National Park and arrive in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive where you may encounter zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, warthogs, and numerous bird species.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive.

Morning hours provide the best wildlife viewing opportunities as animals are most active.

After breakfast and relaxation, head to Lake Mburo for an afternoon boat cruise.

The cruise offers excellent views of hippos, crocodiles, fish eagles, kingfishers, and many other water birds.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Lake Mburo National Park and proceed toward Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The drive passes through rolling hills, local communities, tea plantations, and scenic countryside.

Arrive in the park in the afternoon.

Depending on arrival time, enjoy an evening game drive before checking into your lodge.

Dinner and overnight. 

Day 4: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains.

The area is famous for large herds of Uganda kob, buffaloes, elephants, and predators such as lions.

After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.

This natural waterway connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is renowned for having one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos.

Wildlife frequently observed includes hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birds.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Return to Kampala

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you search for wildlife you may have missed earlier.

Thereafter, begin the journey back to Kampala.

Enjoy lunch en route and arrive in Kampala in the evening, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
